They firmly believe in and support your active participation in your care. Cheri is excited to be here and looking forward to serve you in the near future.

What is an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)? The Texas Board of Nurse Examiners defines an APN as a registered professional nurse, currently licensed in the State of Texas, who has an advanced degree in nursing beyond the 4 years of basic nursing education (BSN). Each state sets its own rules regarding recognition and scope of advanced practice nursing roles. Nurse practitioners (NP) are advanced practice nurses who practice independently and in collaboration with other health care professionals. NPs assess patients, make diagnoses, write prescriptions, determine treatment plans and promote wellness.
